The school is located in the northern part of Tainan City, Taiwan.The school address is No. 49, Sec. 2, Qingye Rd., Dongshan Dist., Tainan City 733014 , Taiwan (R.O.C.), There are 6 grades in the school, with a total of 270 students.

History

Our school was founded on September 10, 1900, in Da Zhuang Village, and was originally named Da Zhuang Public School. It underwent several name changes, including Fan She Public School, the First National School, Feng Tian National School, and Dong Shan National School. On August 1, 1968, the school implemented nine years of compulsory education and was renamed Dong Shan Township Dong Shan Elementary School.

With a long history, our school has produced many outstanding alumni who have excelled in various fields of society thanks to the efforts of former principals, teachers, students, community members, and parents' associations. The alumni have generously donated funds and resources to benefit future generations of students, including Mr. Cai Fuxin, Dr. Li Qinglong, Ms. Yuan Biyun, Principal Hong Chaoping, Mr. Chen Mingzhi, and the father-son duo of Mr. Chen Qingkeng. Their contributions have helped create a beautiful and green campus environment for all students and teachers.

Our school is an old and well-established institution, with an elegant campus environment, modern facilities, young teachers, and a culture of excellence in learning. We strive to foster a positive learning atmosphere and group dynamic, and our administrative team is highly efficient and effective in implementing comprehensive quality management to meet the high expectations of parents for quality education.

Currently, our school is actively promoting the nine-year integrated curriculum and has achieved remarkable results in various activities, including traffic safety education, music competitions, sports events, environmental assessments, and various parent-child activities, among others. We are committed to embracing the new era of education and continuing to cultivate students' moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic development.

As the saying goes, "It takes ten years to grow a tree, but a hundred years to nurture a person." In recent years, with government subsidies and alumni support, our school has made significant improvements in various facilities and educational programs. We not only value leading by example and teaching through words, but also emphasize the role of social education. With the collective efforts of teachers, students, and parents, our school has gained recognition from society and parents alike. However, education is an ongoing process, and we will continue to work hard to provide the best education possible for our students, to help them become pillars of society and the country in the future.
